The countdown continues. The cities where we will be distributing wheelchairs are Chiang Mai (in the north), Mae Hong Son (northwest of Chiang Mai near the Myanmar border), Phayao (northeast), and Song Khla (south in the trunk of the elephant, on the gulf coast). This will be the first time we visit a beach area. There are 23 people going....the largest team to Thailand yet.

Wheels for the World preparations

Well, we are getting ready for another WFTW trip to Thailand. This was one of the 1st orders of business for me, a wheelchair mechanic. I had John "the tool man" here in North Carolina make me a set of tools for drilling clean 180 degree holes through wheel chair tubing. They're hardened stainless steel.
