We were here for 2 days. As always, fun and exhausting, and so many stories. We traveled back to Cairo late into the evening after the distribution on Saturday.

Prayer before we start.

The mechanics set up outside, with all patients and seating activities inside. Busy, hectic and crowded.

Friday and Saturday November 6 & 7, we traveled by bus to Abu Hennis, the distribution site. We had to cross the Nile by ferry. This was the first time for the bus driver. The bus fit nicely crosswise.

Here’s my buddy and master mechanic Jim Cowart with the Nile in the background.
Thursday November 5 - Ok, here’s the rest of the story. Wednesday night the wheelchairs were finally released from Customs and trucked to a nearby location in Cairo. Many on the team stayed up late to sort out about 50 chairs to be trucked ahead of us to Abu Hennis. We traveled by bus to El Minya where our hotel was right on the Nile.
